Definitely nothing special in the way of camera equipment. For night photography a sturdy tripod is a must and I also use a wireless shutter release so there is no vibration with the slowwwww shutter speeds.

I've seen some amazing star / night sky photos on different web sites and I'm trying to get better at doing this type of photography. I still have a long way to go and think I really need a better lens which of course costs more than I want to spend!!Julie and Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07578474726508750989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2934264803219169916.post-24906470344000719922014-03-18T09:03:48.084-04:002014-03-18T09:03:48.084-04:00Forgot to mention that in our first year of Fullti...Forgot to mention that in our first year of Fulltiming we actually camped at Shell Mound county park. Really cute but airboats going out at 6am and all morning and coming back after dark through the campground. An absolutely horrible camping experience in what would have been a fabulous place.Sherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00328866430156879312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2934264803219169916.post-63691576010978797752014-03-18T09:01:17.433-04:002014-03-18T09:01:17.433-04:00We also really liked Kissimmee Prairie. We did see the caracara though. Those are fabulous night shots you got. Which Nikon did you use to get them? Any special equipment other than flash I assume? Really nice. Thanks so much for your comment. It's great to see you there. Please don't be a stranger and don't be afraid of the Withlacoochee paddle just go perhaps out of Nobleton not Dunnellon. The spots on the bike trail show it to be a fabulous river if you aren't in air boat territory. Florida is great for someone like me that likes to bike but to lazy to do much uphill peddling.Dragonflyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17260720774181195081noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2934264803219169916.post-295313275942196032014-03-08T22:23:07.928-05:002014-03-08T22:23:07.928-05:00Lucky to see the burrowing owl.
